Let's get to work. Here's how.

Standard engraving locations.png

Choose the best location for engraving.

Check out your glove and look for relatively large and flat areas of genuine leather* free of laces, holes, and stitching. These areas will be best for engraving. Most of the engraving for our players is done in one of these four common locations:

  • Outside Thumb

  • Inside Pinky (location is very limited)

  • Back of Hand

  • Outside fingers

Keep in mind, the more room we have, the bigger we can make your design. If the area is too small, the characters may end up small and hard to read.

For words and letters, generally at least 1.5 cm for height is ideal, and about 1 cm of width per character is best. If you're unsure if you have enough room, contact us or send us an email with a photo of your glove and we'll be able to help.

*Laser engraving works best on genuine leather. Engraving on "SuperSkin" and other synthetic materials is not recommended.

Choose an alternative location for engraving.

Every glove is different. Sometimes the four common locations aren't suitable. That's okay! Find another area that is relatively flat and large enough, and chances are we can make it work. If you're unsure, contact us.

Please keep in mind that the area for engraving needs to be free of laces, holes, and stitching. If your glove is predominantly "SuperSkin" or another synthetic leather, we recommend finding an area of genuine leather for engraving. Although it is possible to laser-engrave SuperSkin, we get mixed results so we don't recommend it. SuperSkin also will not work with our color-fill process. Please don't hesitate to contact us with questions.

What are we engraving?

Name, initials, number, phrase, symbol...
It's up to you.

Areas of engraving.png

How many  areas do you want?

The standard engraving option is for one single area. Our process requires a new computer design and laser setup each time we have to move the glove or laser, so we charge accordingly. Two areas means double the time, etc. See the example picture for an explanation of what constitutes an area of engraving.

When you place your online order, be sure to first pick the product "1st AREA ONLY" (either with or without color-fill). Enter all the specifics for the first single area only and add to your cart.

If you'd like a second or third area (or more) engraved, choose the "ADDITIONAL AREA" product (with or without color-fill) and enter the specifics for one single area and add to the cart. Do this for each additional single area. For clarity, 3 areas of engraving means 3 products in your cart.

Pick a font.

We offer eight font choices. Each font has been tested and engraves well on leather. You can pick any of the following:

  • Arial

  • Bradley Hand

  • Brush Script

  • Chalkboard

  • Papyrus

  • Palatino

  • Sign Painter

  • Times New Roman

The example pictures represent the same characters engraved on the same leather in each of the respective fonts, with no color-fill process.

If you wish to have a special logo or symbol engraved on your glove, you can email the file to us after you place your order. Be sure to include your name and order number in the subject line of the email. If you have questions, please feel free to contact us.

Standard Colors

Metallic Colors

Neon Colors

Pick a color...
or leave plain.

We offer two choices for our laser glove engraving process- with color-fill, or no color-fill.

If you want your engraving to "pop", we offer 25 options for our proprietary color-fill and sealing process. You can pick one color for each separate area of engraving. Keep in mind that you must select the "first area" product at a minimum before you add additional areas.

The engraving process without color-fill will appear dark brown to black, and more natural depending on the type and color of the leather. This may be suitable for light color gloves, but will be muted and may not "pop" on dark color gloves.
